MUSICSTAR® Troubadours

The troubadour program is unique to MUSICSTAR®. The essence of the program is built around the participating students and their particular choices of musical instruments. It is a program that empowers students to be creative and make music together regardless of level of proficiency under the musical leadership of the instructor. The instructor creates the musical framework on piano or guitar that allows students to contribute their own improvisations, musical notes, melodies and gestures in an effort to create musical performances that express certain sentiments or tell certain stories. The focus of this program is not to necessarily to learn new instrumental techniques, but rather apply whatever techniques students possess to create music together.
