MUSICSTAR’S specially developed curriculum,
workbook and accompanying CD library provides an
opportunity for students to learn about, and actively experience,
the music of cultures around the world, ranging
from Native American and Latin American music to
the music of the African continent and Asia. The curriculum includes many
illustrations through music samples on CD, DVD, and hands-on interactive
exploration by way of real live instruments. Students will learn about music,
instruments and styles, but will also gain a better understanding and respect
of the multi-cultural nature of our planet through music.
